The Ultrasonic transducer uses the piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric ceramics, which have the same resonant frequency, to convert electrical energy into mechanical vibration. Ultrasonic waves are generated by an ultrasonic generator, which is converted into mechanical vibration by a Ultrasonic transducer, and then generated by an ultrasonic guide device and an ultrasonic receiving device. As an energy converter, therefore, the Ultrasonic transducer's function is to convert incoming electrical power into mechanical power (that is, ultrasonic waves) and pass it on, while consuming very little power of its own.


The structure of the Ultrasonic transducer consists of a shell, a sound window (matching layer) , a piezoelectric ceramic disk transducer, a backing, an outlet cable and a receiver. The piezoelectric ceramic disk transducer has the same function as most transducers, and is mainly used for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves, it mainly consists of lead-out cable, transducer, metal ring and rubber gasket to receive Dopler dial-back signal generated outside the frequency band of piezoelectric ceramic disk transducer.
