Dual-frequency equipment to improve the cleaning ability of ultrasonic cleaning machine
Date: 2022-10-17Number: 150
The working frequency of ultrasonic cleaning machine with kHz unit determines the intensity of cavitation in removing surface pollutants. A lower frequency (e.g. 25 kHz) produces relatively large cavitation bubbles with greater implosion strength than a higher frequency (e.g. 45 kHz) . This is why low-frequency removal is used to remove heavy dirt buildup on tough parts (such as engine castings) as well as polishing compounds and polishes. When cleaning highly polished or refined surfaces, higher frequencies are safer.
The optional cleaning basket for ultrasonic cleaners ranges in size from 7.9x 3.9x 3.5 inches to 11.4x 10.6x 5.1 inches deep.
Note that when selecting any desktop ultrasonic cleaner, the basket size is the defined size, not the internal size of the cleaning fluid tank. The basket should be large enough to ensure that all cleaned surfaces are fully immersed in the cleaning solution. Under no circumstances should the cleaned object be placed at the bottom of the tank.
Other functions
The correct frequency of ultrasonic cleaning is only one of many factors contributing to rapid, safe and effective cleaning. Adjustable ultrasonic power or intensity allows the operator to"Fine-tune" the cleaning cycle to match the surface or composition of the part to be cleaned. This helps to avoid potential damage to the surface. The TIH-MF2 ultrasonic cleaning machine enables the operator to control the power between 10% and 100% of the rated power of the equipment. When cleaning fragile surfaces, this may be a trial-and-error process by starting at a lower strength and gradually increasing it to maximize the efficiency of the cleaning without affecting the extent of the surface to be cleaned. This will guide future cleaning steps.
An operator-activated"Degassing" mode is used in the preparation of fresh cleaning solutions to remove trapped air that inhibits cavitation. Degassing can also be activated for degassing solvents placed in flasks, as well as for other sample preparation activities in a research laboratory.
The"Cleaning" mode is activated to provide a slight ± change in ultrasonic frequency to ensure a uniform cleaning action throughout the bath. This avoids so-called hot spots that can damage the surface, as well as so-called dead zones -- areas without cavitation. The"Normal" mode can also be chosen to mix, dissolve, or disperse the sample. In TIH-MF2 series ultrasonic cleaning machines, degassing, cleaning and normal can not be activated at the same time.
The operator may set the cleaning solution temperature as recommended by the solution formulation. The maximum temperature can be adjusted to 80 ° C (usually the upper limit of effective ultrasonic cleaning) . Active heating with indicator light and switch indication. When the selected temperature is reached, the indicator will go out.
Finally, the timer allows the operator to set the clean sweet talk ad hoc cycle to up to 15 minutes or manually turn off the continuous operation.
Two other tips
Ultrasound is activated when the solution is heated because it helps to circulate the solution in the tank to ensure uniform heating. Optional lids (standard or insulated lids) are always kept in place during operation to reduce noise and minimize solution evaporation.
